Levity: Humor or frivolity, especially the treatment of a serious matter with humor or in a manner lacking due respect. It’s something I am good at inserting in conversations. Do I mean disrespect? Absolutely not! Generally, the humor is directed at myself because well, if one can’t laugh at themselves then, in my opinion, they are missing out on some awesome endorphins! Giggles are good for the soul and the heart. Don’t you love how you feel after a good belly laugh? It is my intent to provoke a smile from those reading my blogs and to occasionally evoke on an all-out belly laugh!
Fortunately for me, unlike the puppies pictured above, my nipples have yet to be stimulated by dragging the ground when I run. Wait a minute, as you know from a previous blog, I don’t run. But if I did, I believe they would only get sore from bouncing up and down because at my age, I only believe in sport bras. Or no bra. Comfort is key.
If you have read, THE RED BRA, then you know about Missy and her experience upon awakening after her first night of cheerleading.
“Ow!” she yelled as her breasts fell together with her movement. Geez, she thought, why are my titties so sore? She put her hands to her breasts and gently massaged them through the oversized t-shirt she wore as a nightgown. My god, they hurt! I’m not due for my period for what, another two weeks. Why the heck are they so sore? Oh, duh…. all that jumping up and down in my el cheapo Wally World bra. Missy rolled over on her back and stared at the ceiling.
I did not have THAT particular problem in high school. “Flatsies, flatsies, their flatsies cuz their flat.” This was the cheer I most resembled. LEVITY… www.jennymiddleton.com
